1-What’s your background in modeling?
I have been working between Kuwait and Bahrain, started with a Burger King advertisement last ramadan, and had a few photoshoot for some clothing brands as well as a trunk show for Guess in Kuwait.
2-When and why did you get started?
being a model was a dream of mine since I was young, and I started about two years ago with Circus Maximos and the photos was released on their Kuwaiti website.
3-How would you describe your style?
what matters to me actually is wearing something that would suit me regarding color palette and skin tone, and most likely I would wear what would make me comfortable and of course accessories and the shoes to be really comfortable.
4-Where do you generally shop?
H&M, ARMANI, ARMANI JEANS, ZARA, G-STAR RAW, RIVER ISLAND, DIESEL , HARVEY NICHOLS, and usually depends on where I would find what suits me.
5-What is fun and rewarding about modeling?
The most interesting part and really rewarding is being around people who would give you recognition and that helps me moving forward and keep on developing and doing what I love.
6-What do you dislike about modeling?
Personally it annoys me sometimes that I can’t have an input in the work, the set or the way how everything is going.
8-How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?
Mostly I like to be fully energized, so sometimes I would even take a break from my main job to be fully relaxed.
9-Have you attended fashion modeling courses?What courses have you taken?
I had a few training sessions with Yamaah Agency, and to be honest in Kuwait those things are rare to find, which leaves most of the models here half baked.
10-What are some of the main differences between runway and photographic modeling?
during the photo sessions you have more time to actually change the look or take a rest, while on the runway it is just harder since your time is limited to maximum to 5 minutes, and usually photography depends on how the model portray the art behind it and deliver the positions requested by posing right or giving the right facial expressions.
